Wealthy German businessman Host Bratwurst is exasperated with his beautiful but brattish English wife and is powerless to control her unacceptable behaviour such as flirting with the gardeners. He consults a private ‘specialist in discipline’ retired Headmaster Percy Simpkins to see whether he might be able to help. Simpkins uses tried and trusted methods such as scolding and corporal punishment. He suspects she might just be attention seeking and even desirous of the firm hand her bumbling husband does not have. The therapy he uses on this occasion is a thrashing with a variety of leather straps. She accepts the therapy even the the cane and vows to moderate her unacceptable behaviour. It’s a glowing success story for Simpkins’ controversial treatment methods.
