When a hotel manager is informed that one of his maids has been caught stealing for the second time he knows what action to take. Rather than involve the authorities and saddle the girl with a criminal record his hotel’s policy is clear. Disciplinary proceedings take place in house and being an old fashioned hotel staff punishment is equally 19th century.
