Headstrong young Lady Constance (Sophie Fennington) stands to inherit her late father’s grand estate but there is a fly in her ointment in the shape of pompous Basil Harcourt the family lawyer. Harcourt lays out the terms of her father’s will and Constance is shocked to discover that although it is in her favour, it comes with a sting in the tale.
